Many B-Schools and universities in abroad require the Graduate Management Admission Test or Graduate Record Examination- involving three months of preparation for most candidates. When to apply
MBA programmes are seasonal in both US and Europe, some schools run two courses in a year. There applications are diverted into branches, enrolling deadlines. Before you enroll in one of the college find out the best referrer for yourself. It can be your manager, or your senior in college or alumnus you know well, a client, a consultant or your former boss. Candidates should design a recommendation strategy and ensure that your referrer could justify your purpose of studying there, and why you deserve that place.
The essays play a vital role in deciding whether you get interviewed or not. These essays are typically short- often 500 words or less than that. You can also include the present role in your team, type of responsibilities and career choices and professional aspirations.
It is worth knowing what exactly the school or university is looking into the student. Most of the schools are looking for an international outlook, cross-cultural awareness, a good personality and active participation in extracurricular activities are essential.
A perfect GMAT score, is no guarantee for success. The most common factor in failing at interview is bad communication skills, poor interpersonal skills or dubious motivation.
